Sorry to all those who loved Lina DeGrazia, especially her sons: Russ, Emil, Remo, and Romolo. Aunt Lina was a force, a beautiful soul who loved her family as much as it is humanly possible. She cherished her sons. She was the ultimate family person who was happiest surrounded by her family. She was engaging, social, loving, and funny. I have such amazing family memories in large part thanks to my Great Aunt Lina. She and her husband, my Great Uncle Emil, hosted the most beautiful Christmas Eves. To this day, Christmas Eve is my favorite holiday thanks to the traditions passed on both by my Aunt Lina and my Uncle Emil. Family was most important to these hard working, loving, and truly wonderful people. I am sorry I am not up in Connecticut to help you honor her life. I will try to honor her legacy and know I will think of her on family holidays in the years to come. I hope the family legacy that she and her husband started continues in all of us. We can all learn so much from this amazing generation: the power of love and commitment to family.
