Obituary of Marita Ann Palardy
Marita Ann Palardy, age 67 of Danbury, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Hancock Hall. Marita was born and raised in Danbury on June 19, 1953 by the late Andrew and Rita (Coffey) Palardy.
Marita graduated from Danbury High School and worked at Arts Dry Cleaning. She was a phenomenal cook and made the best lasagna! Marita was an animal lover and loved her many dogs throughout her life.
Marita will be sadly missed by her brother Robert and his wife Catherine of Danbury, her sister Pamela Surovy and her significant other Donald of Bethel, sister-in-law Kathy Palardy of Danbury, cousin Holly Molinaro and her husband Frank of Bridgewater, along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marita was predeceased by her brothers, Andrew and James Palardy.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 11:00am - 12:00pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St, Danbury. A Prayer Service will begin at 12:00pm at the Home with burial in St. Peter Cemetery immediately following.
Per CDC guidelines, all are requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
