To the family of my good friend, Irv - my sincerest condolences to all! My friendship with Irv began in 1977 at the Danbury Soap Box Derby ( when Marci won the Jr. Division Championship ) and continued throughout many years of going to "Rally Races" in CT, PA and NH - and attending the Akron, Ohio National Championships for 25 years.
Irv was a man of few words, but had a big heart, loved the spirit of competition and was a creature of habit - breakfast and dinner every day at the Holiday Diner in Danbury for one thing. The waitresses would have his breakfast at his usual table before he even entered the door! We'll all cherish great memories about Irv forever. God Bless!

I remember seeing Irv at the track in my teens. Met him after I purchased Carey Archieres #23. Irv was selling his 1952 International car carrier.
