Obituary of Terrance Allan Macey
Terry “Mace” Macey, 59, of New Fairfield, CT, beloved husband of Lynne (Morgan) Macey, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, December 17th. He was born in Framingham, MA, on March 14, 1961, cherished son of Richmond and Diane (Grenier) Macey of Florida. He was a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh with a BS in Business Administration.
Terry was an avid sports fan of all sports, especially Jets and Notre Dame football, Ranger hockey, and Boston Red Sox baseball. He shared his love of sports with his children and loved coaching them in soccer and lacrosse. Terry loved to organize and be a part of all tailgates.
He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh with his large group of friends.
Terry spent over 30 years at IBM as an Application executive.
Terry greatly enjoyed a second career as the Northeast Sales Manager for Rug Pad USA.
In addition to his parents, Rich and Diane, and his devoted wife, Lynne, he will be sadly missed by his children, Kelly Macey, and Sean Macey and his fiancé, Jackie Keller, his brothers, Tim Macey and his wife, Betty, and Tom Macey. He is also survived by his in-laws, Pam Nenaber and her husband, Dick, Kim Mante and her husband, Bruce, and Steve Morgan, as well as many nieces and nephews, and beloved friends.
A celebration of Terry’s life is planned for a later date.
