Obituary of Sr. Claire LoMaglio SSND

Sister Claire LoMaglio, a member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, was born on July 26, 1943 in Rochester, New York.  She died at Norwalk Hospital on January -24, 2021, aged 77.

After her first profession of vows on July 7, 1963 in Wilton, Connecticut, Sister Claire taught in Poughkeepsie and Rochester, New York. She became an R.N. at Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing in 1987, and subsequently ministered to the sisters at Lourdes Health Care Center in Wilton, and with the Visiting Nurses of Connecticut.

Her cremains will be interred in the SSND section of St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel, Connecticut.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Villa Notre Dame, Wilton, at a future date.
