Obituary of Mira E. Williams
Mira E. Williams, 84, of Brookfield, died on Monday, January 25th in Johnsburg, IL. She was born in Canton, MA on May 26, 1936, daughter of the late Roger, Jr. and Wilma (Harris).
Mira was a loving mother who devoted her life to her family. She loved to travel and spend time with those she loved no matter where they were.
In her younger years she was an active member of the Congregational Church of Brookfield, and enjoyed volunteering as a Den Mother for her son’s Cub Scouts.
Mira had many interests. She always enjoyed sailing with her father, brothers, family, and friends on their sailboat off the coast of Massachusetts. She also enjoyed painting, crocheting, knitting and loved to go out dancing.
Mira was a true blessing to each and everyone that crossed her path.
She will be sadly missed by her three children, Henry Nusser and his wife, Kim, Peter Nusser, and Catherine Nusser and her husband, Greg Sorell; her daughter-in-law Cindy and her husband Gary Govekar; her thirteen grandchildren; Ashley, Korey, Ryan, Rebecca, Alana, Leonard “Will” and his wife Kim, AnnaRose with her husband Jason, Carley, Elizabeth “Elly”, Marion, Margaret and her husband Ray, Wyatt, and Warren; her seven great grandchildren, Leo, Landon, Mario, Arie, Bayleigh, Blaise and Rita. She is also survived by her brother, Jed Williams and his wife, Uta.
She was predeceased by her son, Leonard Nusser, Jr.; and her brother, Peter Williams.
Due to the restrictions of the pandemic, services for Mira will be held at a later date.
