Obituary of Frank A. Main
Thomaston – Mr. Francis A. “Frank” Main, age 62, of Thomaston, died Saturday January 30, 2021 at the Connecticut State Veterans Hospital in West Haven. He was the husband of Nancy Ann (Walker) Main.
Frank was born in Danbury on February 25, 1958 son of Patricia (Dekker) Cypher and the late Louis Cypher, Sr. He was retired after working for many years as a self -employed roofing contractor and enjoyed motorcycling, boating, cars and spending time with his family and friends and loved his dog Molly whom was his Service Dog.
Frank proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1975 – 1977 and was a member of the Danbury, Ct. American Legion Post 60 for many years.
In addition to his wife Nancy and his mother Patricia, Frank is survived by his children: David Franklin, Christopher Main, April Main and Keara Main, his siblings: Barbara Andrews and her husband Rick, Donna Main, Doreen Finkle, Tanya Roof and Louis Cypher, Jr. and his wife Roxanne, his grandchildren: Joey, Mya, Mason, Vincent, Jayden, Evan, Kayla, Joshua and Brianna and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Louis Cypher, Sr. and his daughter Christina Main.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service with full Marine Corps honors on Monday February 8, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery 317 Bow Lane Middletown. All current COVID 19 regulations will be strictly adhered to. Masks are required.
