Obituary of Kevin Paul Williams
New Fairfield – Mr. Kevin P. Williams, age 60, of New Fairfield, died Friday April 9, 2021 at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Williams was born May 25, 1960 in New Milford. He was the son of the late Raymond and Mabel (Johnson) Williams. He worked for many years as a self-employed mason and also as a school bus driver and was a member and Treasurer of the Gaylordsville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed music, singing, fishing, playing cards, outings to the casino, attending races, vacations to Lake George, and more than anything, spending time with his family.
Mr. Williams is survived by his former wife, Eva Williams and their children: Kevin Paul Williams II and wife Christine of Mattydale, NY, Joseph Williams and wife Noel of New Milford, Mathew Williams and longtime girlfriend Devyn Whiting of New Fairfield, and Brian Williams of New Fairfield; his grandchildren: Zackary, Ezra, Jude and Taren; his brothers: David, Alan, Rick, Doug, Thomas and Raymond II; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Williams' family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday April 14, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a walkthrough visitation at the Cornell Memorial Home at 247 White St. in Danbury. All attending are asked to please wear a mask and maintain proper social distancing. All current COVID 19 regulations will be strictly adhered to. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held on Thursday April 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Mountain View Cemetery in New Fairfield.
