Obituary of Fannella Johnson
Danbury – Fannella (Wilson) Johnson, age 88, of Danbury, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Danbury Hospital.
Fannella was born October 8, 1932, in Muskogee, Oklahoma daughter of the late Lee and Rosa (Atchison) Wilson. She was retired after working for many years as a secretary for the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. She enjoyed collecting and fashion.
Fannella is survived by her children: Bonnie Johnson and her husband Joseph Douglass of Columbia, MD and George Harrison Johnson and his partner Maggie Farnsworth of Everett WA, her grandchildren: Nara Allen and Kade Allen, her sister Geri Cowan of Omaha, NE, and many nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services and burial in Columbia Memorial Park in Clarksville, MD will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home 247 White St. Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
