Obituary of Rose Testanero
Rose Testanero, 89, of Danbury, CT died at Danbury Hospital on May 6, 2021. She was born in Danbury in 1931, daughter of Joseph and Mary Gigliotti.
Rose enjoyed working for the Danbury School System for 25 years and loved being in her church choir. She was very passionate about music and spent many days singing along to the songs she grew up with. She was a faithful and active parishioner of Saint Joseph's Church for more than 70 years.
In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husband, Angelo Testanero, a/k/a Sonny Carroll of the Sonny Carroll Orchestra. She was also predeceased by her three sisters, Francis Dinho, Mary Mahalik, and Gilda Bostock.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Diane Fenwick and her husband William, her son Vincent Testanero and longtime partner Betty Schleicher, her brother-in-law, Jack Testanero, Rose's two caregivers Alicia Jones and Katie Calderon, as well as, her many nieces and nephews and her neighbors Micheal and Betty Ann Medeiros.
