Obituary of Lorraine F. Ragette
Lorraine F. Ragette, of Brookfield, beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Ragette, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, August 26th. She was born in Bronx, NY on December 30, 1926, daughter of the late LeRoy and Edna (Ganz) Fletcher.
Lorraine was a longtime member of the Danbury Garden Club where she made many dear friends.
She will be sadly missed by her five children, Ralph (Lori), Paul F. (Rosemarie), Mark, Elaine Breitling, and Neil Ragette; her grandchildren, Daniel (Jobi), Elizabeth Maurer (Rodney), Edmond Breitling Jr. (Jordan), Ethan Breitling (Dr. Ryan King), Ralph and Jaclyn Ragette, Francesca Devino, Nicole Brothman (David), Jennifer Brual (Anthony), Kelly Ragette (Adam); and four great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Edmund Breitling.
Funeral services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury Ct on Tuesday, August 31st at 11:30am. Burial will follow in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY, at approximately 1:15pm.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning between the hours of 10:00 – 11:30am.
