Obituary of Theresa Daiuto
Theresa (Silvestri) Daiuto, 85, of Danbury, wife of the late Joseph A. Daiuto, died peacefully at Glen Hill Center on September 22, 2021. Her daughters were at her side.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 8, 1936 and moved to Melville, Long Island as a young girl. Theresa married Joseph, a fellow Brooklynite, whose family lived around the corner. They raised two daughters together until Joseph's passing in 1982.
After the death of her husband Theresa moved to Danbury, Connecticut where she worked as a medical secretary for several local medical practices and enjoyed being an active member of the Danbury Senior Center. Theresa was a devoted New York Mets fan.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Catherine Neustadt and her husband, Michael, and Rose-Anne Manziello and her husband, Robert; and her two grandchildren, Joseph and Leah Manziello.
A funeral service will be held at St. Charles Cemetery Chapel, Farmingdale, NY on Tuesday at Noon.
