I've know Darlene since 4th grade. I was the new kid in school Darlene and I became instant friends. She invited me over her home more times than I can count. The whole family made me feel so welcomed. Thank you Mr and Mrs G.
Over the years we lost touch then reconnected like no time had passed us by. Lost touch again and of course we reconnected. This time we vowed to never lose touch again. Over the last 25 years we stayed in contact with me living in Florida, the internet and then Facebook helped a lot in staying in close contact. Darlene was so proud of all her children. When she became a grandmother that was the highlight of her life. I would always ask her to post pics of the kids and grand kids so I can see them.
I am so sorry for your loss. Darlene was a wonder person, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grand mother and friend.
You will be truly missed. I will carry our friendship in my heart. Till we meet again my friend.
