Obituary of Janina Dziatkowski

Danbury – Janina Diana Dziatkowski, age 83, of Danbury, died Thursday October 28,2021 at the St. John Paul Center in Danbury.

Janina was born April 9, 1938 in Danbury, daughter of the late John J. and Louise A. (Kryscio) Dziatkowski. She worked as an LPN/R.N at Danbury Hospital for a decade but chose to pursue her lifelong love of music. She flourished as a pianist, organist, singer, choir director and piano instructor at WCSU. She also was a Secular Franciscan, an active communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Danbury and a member of the Arian Singing Society.

Janina is survived by her children: Diana Rosato of Branford and Mark Rosato-Mandala and his wife Nan of New Zealand, her granddaughter Dzilao, and great grandson Cyrus.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Monday November 1,2021 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Danbury. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury.
