Obituary of Jane Damici
Jane Lacey Damici of Bethel, passed away Thursday November 18, 2021 at Glen Hill Center in Danbury. She was the loving wife of 64 years to Armondo Damici.
Jane was born April 20, 1936 in Everett, MA to the late Charles and Eva Lacey. She worked as a nurse at Glen Hill Center and then at The Gardens after her retirement in the Recreation Dept. She loved singing in her living room to the Carpenters and tending to her beautiful flower gardens. Jane was a selfless woman who always had a smile to offer and made a positive impact on all she met.
In addition to her husband, Armondo, Jane will be sadly missed by her children: Valerie Jackson of Bethel, Greg Damici of Bethel, Dennis Damici of Bethel, Andrew Damici and his wife Megan of Colorado, and Mary Damici of Bethel; grandchildren she adored: Daniel Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Joseph Damici, Angelina Damici, and Anthony Damici; and her siblings: George (Eleanor) Lacey, Elaine (Michael) Lashgari, and Larry Lacey.
Jane was predeceased by her son Kevin Damici, son-in-law Bruce Jackson, and her siblings: Carol Aniskovich, Edmond Lacey, Peter Lacey, Maurice Lacey, Mary Kaempfer, and Patricia Lacey.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday November 27, 2021 at St Mary Church in Bethel. Burial will take place in St Mary Cemetery, Bethel.
Memorial donations in Jane’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
