Obituary of Olinda Alves
Danbury – Mrs. Olinda DaConceicao (Carvalho) Alves, age 86, of Danbury passed away peacefully on Monday November 29, 2021 at Danbury Hospital. She was the widow of Victor Alves.
Mrs. Alves was born June 20, 1935 in Portugal daughter of the late Cersar and Ana DaConceicao (Carvalho) Alves. She was retired after working for many years at Davis and Geck and was a faithful communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Danbury. Her life was centered around her family and her church.
Mrs. Alves is survived by her sons: Victor M. Alves and his wife Cathy of Danbury and Carlos Alves of Danbury.
Mrs. Alves’ family will receive relatives and friends at the Cornell Memorial Home 247 White St. Danbury on Thursday December 2, 2021 from 4 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Danbury. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury.
