Obituary of Mary Rose Perrotta
Danbury – Mrs. Mary Rose (LoPinto) Perrotta, age 100, of Danbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 12,2021 at the Milford Center Genesis in Milford, Delaware. She was the widow of Anthony Perrotta.
Mrs. Perrotta was born March 13,1921 in New York City, NY, daughter of the late Filipo and Anna (Benanti) LoPinto. She was retired after working for many years as a seamstress and bookkeeper and was a communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. She enjoyed sewing and crafting Christmas ornaments, as well as spending time with her four grandchildren, Danielle, Anthony, Lisa and Laura, and two great grandchildren, Isabella and Caleb.
Mrs. Perrotta is survived by her son Daniel Perrotta and his wife Carol of Delaware, her daughter Rosanna Crivelli of Connecticut, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 3 younger brothers and two younger sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 18,2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Perrotta’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday December 17,2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cornell Memorial Home 247 White St. Danbury.
