Obituary of Catherine Nolan
Catherine Nolan, 102, formerly of Danbury, died peacefully at Bethel Healthcare on Friday, December 24th. She was born in Danbury on November 22, 1919, daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Ginty) Nolan. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Peter Church in Danbury.
Upon completing nursing school Catherine joined the United States Navy. She served as a registered nurse at the Great Lakes Naval Station and Key West Naval Station during World War II. She continued her career with Danbury Hospital for many years.
Catherine enjoyed making her home at the Cascades and later Bethel Healthcare where she made many dear friends in the residents and staff.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services with burial in St. Peter Cemetery was held privately.
