Obituary of Patrick F. Jennings, Jr.
Patrick F. Jennings, Jr., 80, of Brookfield, beloved husband of Mary Kelly Jennings, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 6th. He was born in Scranton, PA, son of the late Patrick Sr., and Dorothy (Callery) Jennings. He was a graduate of Scranton Prep, and the University of Scranton. After college he graduated from the Naval Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI.
Pat was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, proudly serving with the United States Navy aboard the USS Kaskaskia and at the Pentagon.
After 28 years of employment, Pat retired from IBM. He then worked with the Knights of Columbus for 20 years.
In addition to Kelly, his cherished wife of 56 years, he will be missed by his two children, Patrick K Jennings, and Kara Jennings; his three grandchildren, Connor Meghan and Finn; and his brother John Jennings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb 5th at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church in Brookfield. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday morning between the hours of 10:00 – 11:00am.
