Obituary of Edna E. Bell

Edna E Bell, age 100, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022 at River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury.   Edna had made her home in New Fairfield and was the widow of John Prokory. 

Edna was born November 25, 1921 in Millsboro , PA to the late John and Mable Bell.  She worked for many years in the insurance industry after her employment with Union Carbide.  She was active in the Ladies Guild at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danbury.  Edna had an artistic side and enjoyed acrylic painting and sewing her own clothing.

Edna will be sadly missed by her great niece, Sandra.  In addition to her husband, John, Edna was predeceased her nephew Ronald.

Burial will be at the convenience of her family in Pinelawn Cemetery on Long Island, New York.  There are no calling hours.
