I was greatly saddened to learn of John's passing. Although it has been many years since I last saw John and Carolyn, I think of them often. We were great friends during the time they ran "Heading Out" magazine, when I wrote a few articles and provided a some pen and ink drawings for that publication. John taught me to fly fish, and we spent many happy hours together in the Housatonic River. He was a good and gentle soul, and my heart aches to know that we'll never meet again in this world. Blessings to you, Carolyn, and to all who knew and loved him.
