Dear John, You showed me the ropes on the job and in personal life as well. I'll never forget your 1st ride on the NYC subway. You will always be remembered! Until we meet again

Dad, I love you and miss you. I wanted to say thank you for giving me my love for music. I hear those songs you used to play and smile - a big smile. Music is such a big part of my life- it’s there when I’m happy, when I’m sad, when I just need a break from the stress of life. It always makes me feel better and I smile just knowing that I have you to thank for it.

To the Snopkoski family, I had the pleasure of playing with John aka “Snapper” at the Sons of Portugal Band in the percussion section. He was a heck of a snare drummer and always a professional. We had a lot of laughs at the jobs and I will remember him with a smile. Sorry for your loss, With find memories, Al DaSilva

Already missing you more than I knew I could, I love you so much pop-pop. Growing up I had so much love and support from you, so much genuine fun. I remember "coloring on your back with crayons", because I wouldn't make a mess and you didn't mind, I remember you watching me at the pool in your yard, egging me on that I can swim above water too if I just tried, or even you hiding things around the house when you watched me so that I could stay busy without getting bored. You were not afraid to show the spirit of a child who loved life to your grandchildren, and I promise to do everything I can to pass that on to mine if I get the chance. You will be sorely missed by more than your blood, you lived a life that touched many. Thank you for being one of the brighter parts of my childhood weither you knew it or not, always loved. Be at peace pop pop

I miss you popop. Thank you for picking me up from daycare everyday and making me laugh, I’ll never forget about muffmuff living in the shed! Thank you for always being so strong and supporting me whenever you could. Thank you for listening to my awful clarinet practicing and letting me play with you and your band. Thank you for inspiring me to start taking pictures, I will continue to photograph our family for you keeping all of our memories alive forever. You are missed dearly, but you are finally at peace. Fly high popop ❤️
