Obituary of Kelly Ann Wilson
Kelly Ann (Covill) Wilson, 44, of New Milford, cherished wife of Matthew C. Wilson, died peacefully on Saturday, February 19th at Regional Hospice in Danbury, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Danbury on August 10, 1977, daughter of Alan H. and Donna M. (Humiston) Covill of New Milford. She was a graduate of Northwestern CT Community College, Connecticut School of Broadcasting (CSB) and New Milford High School, class of 1995.
She worked for many years as Traffic Director for Town Square Media. She loved music, HGTV, animals and recently found joy in bird watching. Her greatest joy was spending time with family.
In addition to her beloved husband of ten years, Matt, and her parents, Alan and Donna, she will be sadly missed by her two children, Bradley and Winter; her sisters, Shantel Covill and Jessica Legan and her husband, John; and her In-laws, James Wilson and Mindy Cass, Ethan James Cass-Wilson and Allie Cass-Wilson. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 24th at 11:00am at St. Francis Xavier Church, New Milford. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street on Wednesday between the hours of 4:00 – 7:00pm.
