Obituary of Steeve Jean
Steeve Jean, 58, of Redding, beloved husband of Sophie Couture, died in Danbury on Wednesday, February 16th. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on February 11, 1964, beloved son of Doris and Claudette Delisle. He was a graduate of Séminaire de Sherbrooke and Sherbrooke University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
Steeve was CFO/Chief Actuary for Somerset Re. He had also worked as a Partner at KPMG, Actuary at Aegon, Old Mutual, Ernst & Young, and MetLife. He was also a Teacher in Blanc-Sablon, Quebec, Canada
He was happiest spending time with his family at the beach and playing hockey, golf, and skiing with his boys. He loved to travel across the world with his wife Sophie.
Steeve was known for his love of life and being full of energy. He was generous, an exemplary father and husband who loved his family. We will miss him dearly and hope he rests in peace.
In addition to his wife, Sophie, and his parents, he will be missed by his three children, Alex Jean and his wife, Veronique, Xavier Jean and his wife, Audrey, Thierry Jean and his wife, Jessica; and his brothers, Pascal and Francis Jean.
Funeral services will be held in Canada.
