I met Carol as a young teenager, when I was working in a summertime youth program.
She always had a smile, kind word, and was just all-out a nice person!

I knew Carol through Community Action. As a young, single mother I consider her to be an early mentor - helping me to gain experience in the work world. She was kind, patient and I remember her fondly.

Carol and I lived on the same floor of an apartment building here in Danbury. We called each other two ships that past in the night because most often she was coming in when I was going out or Vice Versa. The conversations we had were precious to me. She just exuded warmth, intelligence and inner and outward beauty. With out REALLY knowing her, I loved her.
