Obituary of Norman Carvalho
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Norman Carvalho Sr. Born to Abel and Amelia (Coehlo) Carvalho on January 25,1938 in Danbury. Married to Dorothy (Pudelko) on October 24, 1964, celebrating 57 years together.
Norman owned and operated A&S Auto Sales and Towing in Danbury for over 40 years. He was a past member of the Beaver Brook Volunteer Fire Department and served as a past Constable for the City of Danbury.
Survived by Dorothy, Father to Norman Carvalho Jr and David (Katie) Carvalho. Proud grandfather to Joseph and Mattingly Carvalho. Also survived by brothers Ed (Joyce) and Ray (Bernie) Carvalho and in-laws Ethel Pudelko, John Pudelko, Eleanor and Brenton Miller , Florence Pudelko, Ed (Linda) Pudelko as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, brothers Abel and Nelson as well his sister Alice.
Norman’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Cornell Memorial Home 247 White Street Danbury on Friday June 17,2022 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury.
