I'm sorry I just learned of Larry's passing today.
I knew when he worked with St. Sebastian's Boys Brigade in Woodside, Queens NY.
I knew him as a cadet and then worked with him as a junior leader and then as a senior leader. He just a great guy. We went on trips to Washington DC and Gettysburg and in the summer we would go to Father Curran Camp. Those were great times. Most of the kids had never been in the country.
Larry and the guys that worked with the kids were under the leadership of Ed Fowley. Ed and Larry were good friends and the team (mostly veterans giving back to the community) was amazing. Larry truly was a great guy that cared.
