Obituary of Carol A. Rustici
Carol A. (McGuire) Rustici, 80, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late Mario A. Rustici, died peacefully at her home on Monday, August 1st. She was born in Port Chester, New York, daughter of the late James and Margaret (Dodd) McGuire.
Carol worked for many years as an administrative assistant for Green Chimney Children’s Services. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and trips to Mohegan Sun with friends.
She will be sadly missed by her three children, Melinda Rustici, Desmond Rustici and his wife, Pamela, and Ryan Rustici; her two grandchildren, Alexandria and Tyler Rustici; her sisters, Maureen Sheridan, and Kathy Robbie and her husband, Bill; and her brother, Kevin McGuire and his wife, Pat. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; her lifelong friend, Elsie Kapteina.
She will also be missed by her six grand-puppies.
She was predeceased by her brother, James McGuire.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 5th at 11:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel.
Family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St. Danbury, on Friday morning between the hours of 9:30 – 10:30am.
