Obituary of Elizabeth Wojciechowski
Elizabeth Wojciechowski, August 31,1934-August 3,2022. Betty was the youngest child of John and Lizzie (Piskura) Tomascak. Born and raised in Brookfield, she graduated from Danbury High School in 1952. She was employed by the telephone company when there was only one to choose from. In 1958, she married Robert Wojciechowski and they made their home in Brookfield on a lot that was once part of the farm where she grew up. Betty loved life, laughter, bingo, pre-pandemic trips to the casino, and the tradition of baking nut rolls for holiday celebrations. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents and all her siblings. She leaves a multitude of nieces and nephews. As a lifelong Brookfielder, she was a faithful communicant of St Joseph church. Visitation will be at St Joseph Thursday, August 11 at 9am followed by a funeral mass at 10am. Burial at St Francis cemetery in New Milford.
