Obituary of Theresa LeRoux
Theresa Ann LeRoux originally of Danbury, CT passed away peacefully on Monday September 19, 2022 at her home in Maryland, New York after a tough battle with cancer. She now joins her true love and husband, Bruce, who passed away in 2010.
Theresa was born February 3, 1953 in Bethel, CT to the late John and Mary Wildman. She worked for many years as anAuto Emissions Inspector at the former Hamilton Standard in Danbury. Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family and attending Native American Pow-Wows. In her younger years she enjoyed ballroom dancing with her sister Sandie at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio where she won many awards.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Deanna LeRoux of Danbury; brother, John Wildman and his wife Alberta, of Bethel; grandchildren: Anthony (Yordany), Eric (Christine), Bridget, and Yonaly Almonte; great-grandchildren: Skylar, Delayla, and Dasha; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Hutch. In addition to her husband and parents, Theresa was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Lake and Sandie Wildman; and her dog, Starsky.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Danbury. All are kindly asked to meet directly at the Church. Burial will follow service in St Mary Cemetery in Bethel. Visitation will be on Thursday September 22, 2022 from 6-8pm at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.
