Obituary of Isaura Inacia Augusto
Isaura I. Augusto, of Danbury, beloved wife of Arlindo Augusto, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 17th, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Valado St. Quiteria, Portugal on May 6, 1947, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Agostinho) Luis.
Isaura was a wife, mom, sister, friend, and her most favorite title, a grandmother. She was a beautiful woman who loved a great party. Isaura was so proud of the family she created and was a part of. She loved to travel the world but nothing compared to the trips to see her family in her beloved Portugal. There are no words to explain how much she was loved and cherished. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Isaura will live on in all of our hearts.
In addition to her devoted husband, Arlindo, she will be sadly missed by her two sons, Louis Augusto and his wife, Jennifer, and Daniel Augusto and his wife, Sandra; her six grandchildren, Giana, Vanessa, Adriana, Ella, Brooklyn, and Chase. She is also survived by her siblings, Abilio, Olivia, Alice, Maria, Celeste, Carminda, and Eduardo; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Jose and Joaquim.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19th at 11:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Deer Hill Ave, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
