Dear Robin and family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Bonnie. She was a fighter and so talented. I enjoyed so much our visits and her telling me her cat stories. I wish I knew her when she could play the piano. I'm sure she was amazing. She had a tough life, but it was also blessed in so many ways. Now her suffering is over and she is in God's presence and feeling only joy. Hopefully playing beautiful music and surrounded by playful kittens!!
My deepest sympathy.

Bonnie was a bright and shining star in my life, over the course of the many years that I frequented her kitchen and stopped by for a visit. She was always cheery, positive, and even quite funny! Being with her never failed to bring a smile to my face. She loved to feed the birds (& the squirrels!), which may have been to entertain her cat as much as her! She set a fine example of how to persevere in the face of difficulty - walking that fine line between acceptance while also pushing the limits of what was possible for her.
I am a better person because of Bonnie in my life!

Q: How did you meet Bonnie?
A: I met Bonnie my freshman year in high school when my mother took me for piano lessons. She had the greatest smile and the best sense of humor. She also told the funniest stories and could make me smile or laugh even if I was having a bad day. Although my appreciation for the piano came from her, I mostly looked forward to seeing her every Friday. I think of her often and will never forget her!

Bonnie was an inspiration to many while battling her progressive MS disease over a period of many years. She never complained. She never let this disease take away her love of the piano - and her passion for giving piano lessons to aspiring pianist both young and old.
May Bonnie be at great peace - and fill the mighty Heavens with her beautiful piano playing.
