Obituary of Nancy Miller
Nancy J. Miller, age 68, passed away March 9, 2023 at her home in New Milford. She was the loving wife of John C. Miller.
Nancy was born September 6, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Seymour and Doris Jarmofsky. She graduated from Bethel High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Western Connecticut State University. She enjoyed many years working as a paraprofessional at the Schaghticoke Middle School in New Milford, where she made many dear friends. She was an active member of the New Milford Paraeducators Union, serving as its president from 2007 to 2012, then as vice president from 2012 to her retirement in 2016.
Nancy was a loving, strong-willed woman who was meticulous in her home and professional life. She was smart, passionate, and loved her pets and sunflowers. She adored her grandchildren, as they were the light of her life.
In addition to her husband, John, she will be sadly missed by her daughters: Kristy Miller Spaulding and her husband Richard, and Stacey Miller Iozzo and her husband Franco; grandchildren: Natalie, Nicholas, Arik, and Kyra; and brothers-in-law: Robert Miller and his wife Gail, and Ronald Miller and his wife Yolanda.
Visitation will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 5pm-7pm. Private burial will be in Wooster Cemetery at the convenience of family.
