Obituary of Michael Guido Gianfranceschi
Michael Guido Gianfranceschi of Brookfield, CT passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2023. We are all shocked and deeply saddened by this unfathomable loss. Mikey was born March 6, 1982, in Danbury, CT. He was the beloved son of Michael James Gianfranceschi and the late Mariann Gianfranceschi.
Michael was a graduate of Connecticut Culinary Institute; He also attended The Culinary Institute of America. Mikey was a brilliant and accomplished Chef. His love of creating cuisine was awe inspiring. At the time of his passing, he was the Sous Chef at Interlaken Inn, Lakeville, CT where he will be missed by all who worked with him. Mikey was an enthusiastic New York Yankee and Miami Dolphin fan. He also loved UCONN Basketball. Mikey loved to go fishing and enjoyed bird watching in his free time.
Michael is predeceased by his beautiful mother, Mariann Gianfranceschi. He is survived by his loving father, Michael James Gianfranceschi, sister Michelle Berg, brother-in-law Carl Berg of Brookfield, sister Laura Jean Gianfranceschi of Brookfield, sister Brianna Gianfranceschi and brother-in-law Dylan Mack of Woodbury. Michael is survived by the love of his life, Alison De Lello. He leaves behind his fur baby cat Tweezer. Mikey will be cherished and missed always by nephews Noah and Elijah Berg and niece Stella Berg. It is with heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye so soon. Rest easy Michael. You will be loved and missed always and forever. There will be no calling hours.
