Obituary of Agnes Anna Botond

New Fairfield – Mrs. Agnes A. (Vegh) Botond, age 74, of New Fairfield passed away peacefully on Friday May 5, 2023 at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of Imre Botond.

Mrs. Botond was born February 5, 1949 in Budapest, Hungary. She was retired after working as a Surgical Technologist at Danbury Hospital for 46 years. She loved being in her garden and enjoyed cooking and baking.

In addition to her husband Imre, Mrs. Botond is survived by her daughter: Bridget Delaura and her husband Nicholas of New Fairfield, Her step son: Imre Botond, Jr. and his wife Sue Meszofi of Budapest, Hungary and her grandchildren: Brady Delaura and Olivia Delaura.

In accordance with Mrs. Botond’s wishes, no visitation or funeral services will be held.

Mrs. Botond’s family would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support during this very difficult time.
