Obituary of Domenico Persichilli
Danbury – Mr. Domenico Persichilli, age 83, of Danbury passed away peacefully at Candlewood Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in New Milford on Friday, May 19, 2023. He was the husband of Antoinette (Ferrante) Persichilli.
Mr. Persichilli was born July 5, 1939 in Ripi, Province Frosinone, Italy. He was the son of the late Antonio and Margherita (Crecco) Persichilli. He retired after working as a meat cutter/butcher at Stop and Shop and was a communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. Domenico was a big fan of Inter-Milan soccer and Minnesota Vikings football. He also enjoyed many years of great home-cooked Italian meals prepared by Antoinette.
In addition to his wife Antoinette, Mr. Persichilli is survived by his children: Anthony Persichilli and his wife Susan of Danbury and Paula Schlemmer (Charles Kline) of Danbury, as well as son in law: Kurt Schlemmer of Danbury, his brother: Leonello Persichilli and his wife Andreina, and his four grandchildren: Brandon Persichilli, Jennifer Persichilli, Erica Maher and her husband Mark and Ashley Schlemmer.
Mr. Persichilli’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Cornell Memorial Home on Wednesday May 24, 2023 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Danbury on Wednesday May 24, 2023 at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in St. Peter’s Mausoleum in Danbury.
