Obituary of Thomas Fisher
Waterbury – Mr. Thomas Francis Fisher, Jr., age 66, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 17,2023 at Waterbury Hospital after many years of battling Cancer.
‘Skip’ Fisher was born July 27, 1956 in Danbury CT, the son of the late Thomas F. Fisher, Sr. and the late Norma (Taylor) Fisher. He retired from Federal Auto Seat Covers where he worked as an upholsterer for many years.
He was a very caring person always helping others as was witnessed by those he helped through AA, the Boy Scouts and the Church in his earlier years. He enjoyed animals, nature, music, and all things good. He touched many people’s lives and will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Jennifer Rose and her mom Carmen, Skip is survived by his son: Thomas Joseph “TJ” Fisher and his wife Colleen of New Milford his sister: Lori (Capobianco)Butler and her husband Larry of Brookfield: his niece Amy Jurasek and her husband Mike of Bethel; his great-nieces Jordyn and Taylor: and his many aunts, uncles and cousins both near and far.
Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
The Cornell Memorial Home 247 White Street Danbury is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to any Cancer Society of your choosing.
