Obituary of Edna Theresa Pavlinsky
Danbury – Mrs. Edna T. (Bittner) Pavlinsky, age 84, of Danbury, passed away peacefully at the Glendale Complete Care Center in Naugatuck on Tuesday June 20,2023. She was the loving wife of Richard W. Pavlinsky for 52 years prior to his passing.
Mrs. Pavlinsky was born September 19,1938 in Harleigh, Pennsylvania daughter of the late Stanley and Minnie (Ray) Bittner. Before retiring, she was a certified health aide for Child and Family services. She was most remembered for working at Burger King many years as a customer service representative. Her customers knew her by name and many became friends. She was a communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury, a member and vice president from 2007-2010 of the Housatonic Valley Antique Car Club and member of the Antique Car Club of America since 1977. She enjoyed spending time at her weekly classic car cruises where everyone called her grandma. Holidays were always special at moms/grandmas/great grandmas house, she will be sadly missed by her family.
Mrs. Pavlinsky is survived by her daughters: Edna Hoffman and her husband Paul of Danbury and Anita Johnson of Naugatuck. Her sons: Rick Pavlinsky and his wife Deborah of the Villages, Florida, Jerry Pavlinsky and his wife Sharon of Brookfield and William Pavlinsky and Lisa of New Milford. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Chantel Paschoalini and her husband Luciano, David Hoffman and Amy, John Hoffman, Jessica Karas and her husband Carl, Danny Pavlinsky, Kevin Pavlinsky and Jeanette, Bill Pavlinsky, Abby Pavlinsky, Ella Reichin and Jase Reichin. 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pavlinsky’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday June 25,2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cornell Memorial Home 247 White Street Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 26,2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bethel.
