Obituary of Anna Loretta Trombetto
Newtown – Mrs. Anna L. (Rustici) Trombetto, age 96, of Newtown, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 1,2023 at the Regional Hospice in Danbury, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Frank James Trombetto, Sr.
Anna was born July 2,1927 in Stamford daughter of the late Achilles and Anna (Brusky) Rustici. She was retired after working for many years in corporate and school food service and was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church in Newtown. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoyed going to the beach, was an avid bowler and an awesome cook. Anna also had a love and passion for dancing, country music, and playing Bingo with her friends.
Anna is survived by her sons: Frank J. Trombetto, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Woodbury, Michael A. Trombetto, Sr. of Naugatuck and Kim Joseph Trombetto and his wife LuAnn of Sandy Hook, her sister: Loretta Rustici of Stamford, her 6 grandchilden: Amy Nichols, Daniel Trombetto, Joseph Trombetto, Michael Trombetto, Jr.,Diana Trombetto and Karla Trombetto, her 13 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Frank Trombetto III and two infant great grandchildren Caroline and Frankie IV and her 5 siblings Peter, Mario, Archilles, Dorothy and Ellen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church in Newtown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home 247 White St. Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
