Obituary of Jennie O. Bonvissuto

Danbury – Mrs. Jennie O. Bonvissuto, age 95, of Danbury, formerly of Southbury passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 2,2023 at the St. John Paul Center in Danbury. She was the widow of Thomas J. Bonvissuto.

Mrs. Bonvissuto was born July 12,1928 in Waterbury daughter of the late Walter and Stella Ostrowski. She was retired after working for many years as a secretary.

Mrs. Bonvissuto is survived by her children: Thomas R. Bonvissuto and his wife Deborah of Pawling, NY, Jude Sherlach and her husband Robert of Pawling, NY, and Nora Bonvissuto and her husband Frank Canneto of Danbury, her grandchildren: Carly, Anthony, Anna, Rocco, Jeremy, Kylie and Sylvie, her great grandchildren: Mia and Leo and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son: Robert Bonvissuto and her granddaughter: Cassie.

Mrs. Bonvissuto’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday August 4,2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cornell Memorial Home 247 White Street Danbury. Funeral services and burial will be private.
