Obituary of Linda Lee Peck
Linda Lee Peck, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother died peacefully in VT on June 10, 2023 after struggling with health issues and memory loss for a number of years.
Born Linda Lee Rosen in Peekskill, NY on June 9, 1947 her family later moved to Danbury CT where she graduated High School in 1965. In 1971 she married the love of her life C. David Peck on Valentine’s Day enjoying 52 years of marriage together. Linda loved planning all kinds of creative activities for her seniors as Senior Director of the Oxford Senior Center and as the Housing Director at the Robert E. Hutt Congregate Housing in Naugatuck. She adored her family and friends and delighted in hosting an event or shopping for them. Upon retiring, she and Dave left their longtime home in Southbury CT to be nearer to their family in VT.
Linda is predeceased by her parents, Joyce and Harold Rosen, sister Sherry Steinhauser, and her daughter Tracey Mungeon. She is survived by her husband David, son Cristopher Peck & partner Christina Cambridge, stepson David Peck & wife, Janet, and son-in-law, Joe Mungeon. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Daniel & Sarah Peck, Charlotte Mungeon, and Ethan & Estelle Peck.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at Wooster Cemetery, Danbury CT on October 21, 2023 at 11 am. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
