“I worked with my friend Claire at Phelps many years ago in the ICU. We were a very special group of nurses back then, always working together and supporting each other at work and outside of work as well.
She was sweet, kind, knowledgeable, patient and supportive to her patients.
I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss.
Denise Eve”

I’ve know Claire since elementary school, through High School and even worked as new graduate RNs together at St Agnes and Phelps Memorial Hospital. I attended her wedding as well. Such a gentle, beautiful soul, she was very proud of her daughters. I remember when we were new grads and they put us both on together, the only 2 nurses on the entire floor, we wondered what were they thinking? But we made a plan and made it through the eve.She was an excellent RN. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
