Obituary of Katherine R. Gisonni
Katherine Rose (Mazzeo) Gisonni, age 80, of Brookfield passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 30, 2023.
Katherine was born January 15, 1943 in Bronx, NY daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Gordon) Mazzeo. She was retired from Danbury Hospital where she worked as a licensed professional counselor. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Brookfield and scheduled the Adoration Chapel at St. Marguerites for many years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, Sodoku, knitting and crochet, but what she enjoyed most was being a mom, and grandma to her four grandchildren, Kathy Miller, Rebecca Miller, Christian Williams, Brady Williams and great grandson Carson Miller.
Katherine is survived by her daughter Marie Williams and her husband Timothy of Brookfield, son-in-law Dennis Miller, grandchildren and great grandson, and her sister Barbara Gallo of Brookfield. She was predeceased by her daughter Valerie Miller and her sister Joyce Casselius.
Funeral services for Katherine will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brookfield on Saturday, November 11, at 2:30 PM. Interment and reception will immediately follow.
