Obituary of Waynne A. Tomascak
Waynne Anne Tomascak, age 75, of New Milford passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 22, 2023 at Maplewood of Bethel. She was the widow of Cyril H. Tomascak.
Mrs. Tomascak was born August 11, 1948 in Danbury daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (Miller) Kaeser. She was retired after working at the State of Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs for over 30 years and was a communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Brookfield.
Waynne was an x-ray technician in the Navy. Waynne enjoyed many trips to St. Cyril and Methodius in Pennsylvania spending quality time with family having many laughs and making memories. She also enjoyed crafting, the beach, casinos, family picnics and Christmas.
Mrs. Tomascak is survived by her step daughter Kristin Cummings of Florida and her sisters: Gerry Ferris and Karen Provino and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step son Gregory Tomascak. Wayne was predeceased also by nephew Chris Ferris. She leaves niece Jamie Ferris, nephew Scott Provino and great nephew Äscher Ferris.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Brookfield. Mrs. Tomascak’s family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Thursday December 7, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in New Milford.
