Aunt Jeana, you were such a huge part of my life for so long, and I will miss you always. Nearly every memory of my childhood has you in it so I felt like I'd lost you when life began stealing your memories, but losing you now cuts deeply because you were like a second mother to me. I'll always cherish our many long talks when I'd call you on my lunch hour and we'd talk until I had to go back to the office. I'll always hold dear all of the life wisdom you shared with me. I remember how much you did for my sisters & I, and our children, and how you never forgot anyone's birthday-ever! You were always there for us, no matter what. When my mother was dying, you were right there for her, and you always looked out for us after she passed. I'll always appreciate that. I'll never forget us standing in the parking lot of Stop & Shop on Newtown Road and you pointing to the mountains all around us and exclaiming "I absolutely love this town. I love that no matter which way I turn I am surrounded by mountains and trees". In honor of your love of nature, we have planted a grove of trees in your name so that others might eventually share in that same peaceful feeling. May the angels spread their wings to greet you, and may all of our ancestors welcome you home.
I love you.

I remember Jean because her parents were cousins to my Mother and Father, Mary (Tomaino) and Nicola Porchia and myparents doing lots of visits. I have delightful memories of her and her brother Richard. I hope happy memories bring peace and harmony to her brother's heart and mind. God Bless Jean.
