Obituary of Helene Christine Will

New Milford – Mrs. Helene C. (Pendergast) Will, age 82, of New Milford passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday January 17, 2024 at Danbury Hospital. She was the loving wife of Carl W. Will for 33 years.

Mrs. Will was born August 26, 1941 in Bronx, New York daughter of the late William and Henrietta (O’Dell) Pendergast. She was retired as the former owner of Whisconier Florist in Brookfield and enjoyed her family, traveling, trips to Misquamicut Beach flowers and butterflies.

In addition to her husband Carl, Mrs. Will is survived by her daughters: Sheila Scott of Vero Beach, FL and Stacy Lawless of West Haven, her step children: Michael Will and his wife Lisa of Bethel and Debra Underhill and her husband Andrew of Ft. Worth, TX, her sister: Henrietta Groves of Land O Lakes, FL., her 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Will’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Cornell Memorial Home 247 White St. Danbury on Wednesday January 24, 2024 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services and entombment in the St. Peters Cemetery Mausoleum in Danbury will be held at the convenience of the family.
