Obituary of Richard Harold Fry

Richard H. Fry, 87, of Danbury, died at his home on Friday, February 2, 2024.  He was born in Danbury on July 30, 1936, son of the late Arthur and Susie (Lang) Fry.  He grew up in Bethel and attended Bethel Schools. 

Richard worked for Rapid Electric in Brookfield for many years. 

He was an avid gardener who enjoyed both flower and vegetable gardening.  He was particularly proud of his tomatoes and cucumbers. 

Richard is survived by his three children, Susan Purvis and her husband, Bob, Diane Woodin and her husband Thomas, and Richard Fry Jr and his wife, Luanna; and seven grandchildren. 

He was predeceased by a grandchild. 

A graveside service will be in Wolfpit Cemetery, Bethel on Friday, February 9th at 11:30am.  There are no calling hours.
