Obituary of Imre Botond
New Fairfield – Mr. Imre Botond, age 86, of New Fairfield passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Agnes (Vegh) Botond.
Mr. Botond was born February 19, 1938 in Budapest, Hungary. He was retired from Mikon Products in Oxford where he had worked as a machinist for many years. He enjoyed being around family and friends. He loved to laugh and reminisce about the old days. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He made an imprint on everyone he met and was very special to his family and everyone he knew.
Mr. Botond is survived by his daughter: Bridget DeLaura and her husband Nicholas of New Fairfield, his son: Imre Botond and his wife Suszanna of Hungary, his sister: Margaret Nagy of Denver, CO, his grandchildren: Olivia and Brady DeLaura, his nephew: Alex Tamas and his niece: Margaret Hamilton and her husband Kevin.
