Obituary of Ryan David Pickerill
Ryan Pickerill, born on February 13, 1980 in Ft Wayne, Indiana, peacefully passed away on February 29, 2023. The beloved son of Robert and Dawn Pickerill, graduated from New Fairfield High School and University of Geneva. Ryan excelled as an executive financial recruiter, dedicated to assisting individuals in advancing their careers.
Ryan lived a life full of love, compassion, adventure, and joy that was felt by everyone. His greatest blessing was his son, Davin, whom he cherished and loved unconditionally. An enthusiast of outdoor sports, Ryan shared his passion for mountain biking, wakeboarding, motorcycling, snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, and Crossfit with Davin, his brother, and friends.
Believing in a life filled with experiences, travel, and time with loved ones, Ryan valued the finer things, appreciating the beauty of the world through hiking, getaways made of exploration and adventure, and landscaping at home. He loved to share these moments with others and inspired everyone to live life to the fullest. Ryan wished to be remembered for bringing joy and assistance to anyone in need, encouraging others to do the same.
Ryan is survived by his son, Davin (mother, Sarah), sister Lyndsey, brother, Jeff (Ashley), and mother, Dawn Pickerill, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Pickerill.
A private family service will precede a public calling at Cornell Funeral Memorial Home in Danbury, CT, on Saturday, March 16th, from 12:00-3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in honor of Ryan to Reps for Recovery https://www.reps4recovery.org/
