James and I shared a lot of time during our high school years. We stayed in touch, even after we each followed our separate paths away from Connecticut. He and I were founding members of "The Animal Hill Club" and I now regret, more than ever, having lost my membership card so many years ago. James would understand. I feel a great sense of loss with his passing. I have missed him over the years, even when we were able to stay in touch. Now, there is a sense of something special missing from my life that can never be replaced.

I just learned of this very sad news. I grew up with Jimmy being such an important part of my elementary school years. We chatted at our 45th reunion and others and he was still the nice guy he always was. He will be very much missed by many. Rest well, my friend. Diane Tomaino Fisher

Jimmy and I were great pals throughout our school days, particularly South Street School when Jimmy's Dad was our custodian. I have a lot of stories about Jimmy, but the one I treasure the most was one day when visiting me at my home off CoalPit Hill Rd, we walked down the road a bit into Bethel and discovered a corral with a Golden Palomino inside. The lady who owned him, let us inside, and both of us petted the horse. Jimmy was enthralled by the horse, who we called "Mr. Ed" from the TV show of the same name. When I saw Jimmy at a high school reunion in 2013, he said to me, "Remember Mr. Ed?" I sure did and I will never forget Jimmy. My sincere condolences to Brenda and his family and loved ones
